Teen charged after pair threatened

Halton Police arrested and charged a 16-year-old male youth Friday after threats were made to cause bodily harm to students at Christ the King Secondary School.
Police say two students were approached at separate times by another student who threatened to harm them by using a firearm.
No weapon was seen.
One of the two students told a parent about the threats and the parent contacted school authorities on Monday. Police were contacted and began an investigation.
Police arrested the 16-year-old Christ the King student at the school Monday afternoon.
The youth has been charged with three counts of uttering threats. He was held for a bail hearing.

An undisclosed quantity of rolled coins were taken from a Church St. W. Acton home during a break and enter sometime Wednesday or Thursday.
Entry was gained through an unlocked window.

A 54-year-old Gravenhurst man was charged with breach of recognizance and criminal harassment after a domestic incident involving a former girlfriend at a Georgetown business Thursday.
There were no injuries. Police did not release the name of the accused to protect the identity of the victim.

Police recently received a report from a resident on Anne St. of someone who came to their door Wednesday evening saying they were collecting for the United Way.
The resident contacted the United Way and was told they do not canvass door to door. Residents should call police if they are canvassed by someone claiming to represent the agency.

An abandoned residence on Sixth Line, slated for demolition, was entered sometime between Monday (Nov. 10) and Sunday. Several windows were smashed.

Golf clubs and a golf bag, valued at $2,400, were taken from a garage on Willoughby Way during a break and enter sometime Sunday or Monday.

A window was damaged, beer bottles smashed and recycling bins tipped over sometime over the weekend at Harrison Public School. Damage is estimated at $250.
