A 29-year-old Georgetown man was seriously injured about 9 p.m. Monday when the motorcycle he was riding was involved in a collision with a Ford Escape at the intersection of Mountainview and Argyll Roads.
When police arrived, the man on the bike was lying in the middle of the intersection. He was taken to Georgetown Hospital where he was stabilized and later rushed by ambulance to Hamilton General Hospital for further treatment.
Police say he suffered a fractured leg, pelvis and wrist. Yesterday (Tuesday) he was listed in serious but stable condition.
The driver of the Escape, a 35-year-old Georgetown woman, wasn’t injured.
The intersection was closed for four hours while police investigated.
