Kings of the grill...again
Wednesday August 20 2008 For the third year in a row, Team Cedar Grilling brought home the championship hardware, winning the 2008 Canadian Open Barbecue competition in Barrie. The recent competition featured 33 teams from all over the world. Team Cedar Grilling took first place in every category except brisket, and were also awarded the Home Grown Award, which qualifies them to once again compete at the Jack Daniels World Invitational Barbecue Championships in Lynchburg, Tennesee in October. Team members  Daryl Maybanks, Steve Adams and Stephen Phippen recently celebrated at Adams’ Ballinafad home.
